Performance Trial Results Available

Results of the 2007 Ohio Corn Performance Test results are now available online at http://www.oardc.ohio-state.edu/corntrials/. Likewise results of the 2007 Ohio Soybean Performance trials are available at http://www.oardc.ohio-state.edu/soy2007/.

With yields exceeding expectations in many parts of Wyandot County, many farmers are looking for additional storage space for grain. This creates the challenge of determining a rental rate for empty grain bins. A recent article in the Ohio Ag Manager gives some guidelines for calculating a fair rental rate along with some considerations to include in the agreement.  For more information see http://ohioagmanager.osu.edu/
